Online Viewer Help
The Online Viewer is accessible from the My EverHome page that appears when you sign in to your EverHome account. This facility in conjunction with an installation of the EverHome Server Components will enable you to control and monitor your home automation system on the internet.
Start Trial
If you have never accessed the Online Viewer before you will see the 'Start EverHome Online Viewer Trial' option on your My EverHome page. Once you click this option you will be asked to affirm your agreement to a license for a 30 day trial of the EverHome Online Viewer.
Using Online Viewer
To set the address of the server for the Online Viewer to access, click the 'Specify My Server Address' link located on the 'My EverHome' page after you sign in. You can set up your own free domain name for your home server through a service such as DynDNS. After completing this, click the 'Launch EverHome Online Viewer' link to start using the viewer.
When the Online Viewer runs it should display a page that looks like this (Figure 1). You should specify your EverHome password corresponding to whether you are a Basic, Power or Administrator user. Also you need to enter your Security Code and press the 'Log In' button to log in to your Comfort system. You will then be challenged with security alerts, click yes to accept the certificate, after which you may begin using the viewer.
